Ok so after an eventful past few months, we have much to discuss. Internet access has been limited since moving down south (more on that)...but we're getting back on track here.
Rewind:
While interning at the Depew Health Clinic, applications came available to student clinic interns to apply for NYCC "Remote Internships". These opportunites are limited and place DC-students into unique, specialized and high-demand clinical settings from multi-disciplinary areans to hospital-based environments. Such opportunites are not to be taken lightly for DC students, as only handful of chiropractic colleges have made such clinical affiliations and opportunities available in the United States. There are more on the way however. I decided to apply, and after a roller coaster 8 day period, I had moved from Western New York and into sunny South Florida. Two different worlds completely. I was accepted to a student internship position at the Miami VA Hospital.
A big congrats also goes to my classmates who really did well on applications too: Em Crowe, Tom "T-Mac" McChesney, Ty Lamson, Juan Gutierrez. Their positions are spread out from Maryland/DC to different parts of New York State.
Fast Forward:
These days are packed...and the weeks are flying by. Being an intern here involves 5 full days a week, with 40+ hrs/ week...it's heavy volume but there are so many neat cases that have pushed diagnostic and treatment approaches to another level.
More to fill you in on soon...

Never forget where you're from! (like this dude)
